Make Love Often   Leave a comment

It’s official, and I’ve been saying this for years, as well as writing about the reasons why: couples who make love often are happier and stay together longer.

The results from a study out this week from Florida State University were published in national newspapers.

Don’t worry if you missed it; you can read a whole lot more about Sex, Love and Lust in my book. Take the link and have a look at my web pages.

Happy love-making.

Reviews   2 comments

My thanks to ‘Anon’ who posted a 5* Review of Exploring Sex, Love and Lust, on in the last few days.

It doesn’t matter that he, or she, chose to remain anonymous, the important thing is that reviews help others to determine whether a book is for them or not. And that is another reason for telling people how it helped – many might already agree that it was ‘a great read’, but, more interestingly, maybe it helped them solve a particular problem, or learn a new technique, or how to start talking about ….. who knows?!

It’s all ‘Anon’!

Happy love-making,

Sex Wake Up Call   Leave a comment

So you think you know all you need to know about sex? All about maximizing your enjoyment, and how all your ‘bits’ work? And how to look after them? Well, here’s some news that may astonish you: One in six men are unaware they have a prostate!

It’s official. Polling for the charity Prostate Cancer UK also found half of men do not know where the prostate gland is and only one in twelve know what it does!

It was a similar discovery I made about teenage girls; many thought that having sex while standing up meant that they wouldn’t get pregnant – gravity was on their side! How wrong can you be?

This is important: you need to know, and understand, the physiology of your body, both genders, if you are to recognize symptoms of things going wrong. And how to get the best sex. That’s why I wrote the book, Exploring Sex, Love and Lust, just for you.

Do yourself, and your partner, a favor, and get a copy before things go wrong.

Happy love-making.

Fantastic show at Olympia. Exploring Sex, Love and Lust was on display and attracting a lot of interest. Shouldn’t be long before it’s available in other languages.

Happy Love-Making.

Pillow Talk   193 comments

A man’s personal levels of testosterone can show in the way he whispers ‘sweet nothings’ in his lover’s ears after making love. Those with high levels tend to be reluctant to indulge in chitchat, and those with lower levels are keener, and better at it.

Researchers for a study led by the University of Connecticut described how post-sex communication may serve ‘an important role in not only sustaining a satisfying sexual relationship between partners, but may also contribute to more general feelings of relationship satisfaction and closeness’.

The possible risks of disclosure include ‘loss of control, embarrassment, hurt or rejection’, the researchers say in the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships. The benefits may include ‘increased intimacy, closeness and satisfaction’. The researchers went on to say: ‘Not only does the current study contribute to researchers’ theoretical understanding of sexual communication, privacy boundaries, and biology, but it could also have broader practical implications for romantic relationships.’

But we already knew this, didn’t we? In the chapter entitled The Importance of Communication in my book Exploring Sex, Love and Lust, you’ll find all the answers you need for the perfect sexual relationship – written in an easy-going style, and plain English!

Happy love-making.
